What a day. Johnny Lager opened from the spot for Pompey, then Super Kit Symons scored a wonder goal to keep Pompey up and send the Dingles down - 11 months after a young lady of the Claret persuasion broke my heart! Pure poetry. My favourite match of all time.

Turf Moor is one of the famous old grounds.I liked the atmosphre and feel of the place.A traditional stadium in amongst houses.Sadly with this defeat Burnley were relegated.
