Comments :
The score may not be accurate! I do know that Geoff Hurst was the referee and scored one of the goals from a penalty! I only seem to have noted the DJ''s scorers and if I recorded things correctly in the programme Noel Edmonds scored the game''s 1st and 8th goals, Jeff Griffin (who hell he?) the 2nd, Tony Blackburn the 4th, and Terry Wogan the 9th. I''m guessing Geoff Hurst''s goal was the equalising 10th goal for Top of the Pops. I still remember the penalty, the whole team ran up to take it one by one each person not actually kicking it until the ref, Geoff, struck it and scored. I was only 8 but this flouting of the rules did make me a little uneasy even then!
