Comments :
We were on a school exchange trip to Bad Godesberg in West Germany at the time of this match and all given tickets to go. It was a European Cup semi Final second leg and Forest had drawn the home leg 3-3 so only a win would do due to away goals. Unfortunately we were in the away end so we had been singing loudly mostly expecting Forest to lose. When they scored we started to fear for our lives and quickly shut up. There was no trouble but those amongst us who had seen trouble at English matches had an anxious few minutes till we were safely back on the coach. On the pitch my main memory was that Viv Anderson was like a brick wall that day, I''ve never seen a defender play so well. The Forest fans, way way away to our right, were just superb and louder than the home fans all match. P.S. I saw this programme for sale for £40 on one website, but actually it was a free newspaper given away at the game.
