Can't quite believe this finished nil nil. Plenty of chances at both ends - saves, goalmouth clearances, penalty appeals - but no goals. The pitch was awful - cut up very badly - that's what happens when you share with Saracens Rugby I suppose. The stadium was pretty horrible - one side derelict and out of action. The town looks a dump. And Watford's football was route 1 - hoof it to the big lads up front. All in all - deeply unattractive. Feel sorry for them though cos they almost went into administration a week ago. I wouldn't wish that on any club. A good point though - 15 games unbeaten now. 3rd place in league. Come on the reds.

Nearly did not get in - Watford silly admission rules mean if away fans area is full, then they will not let anyone in who is not on their database (i.e. unless you have bought tickets there before)! And they would not put us on the database that day. Went with Alex and Maggs. Had to ask a Watford fan to buy tickets for us!
