What can you say about this fixture that hasn't already been said many times before? The noise when the teams came out was incredible. Both sets of fans supported their team to the end. The ref made some odd decisions but can probably be forgiven for that given the tension. The players coped well with the pressure although there were a few stray passes into touch.   First ever major Corporate Hospitality day out for me - thanks Steve and the Daily Record. Had to wear a suit but got to see the game from a padded blue seat with no leg room. Lots of champagne, breakfast, cakes at half-time, a meal plus wine beers and spirits after. Gary Stevens was at the game and said a few words to get everyone in the room in the right mood (as if they needed reminding of the importance of the game.) Good to see all the suits getting well into the jumping around when the goal went in.   Interesting bits and pieces; there's no green in the stadium apart from the National Car hire adverts - someone really should have told them. Even the after-dinner mints come in a nice branded blue paper wrapper. There's a push-bike in the trophy room, apparently presented by St Ettienne before a European game - worth £1000.  The hard-core Rangers fans sit in a triangle in the corner next to the Celtic fans. Apparently call themselves the Blue Order. The other corner is a triangle of suits who did a little less bouncing around and flag waving. At the end of the game, the Blue Order held up two banners: The car-park awaits, and Strachen must Stay.
