AET - Derbyshire Senior Cup Match started 35 minutes late due to traffic delay New Mills were eliminated from the Derbyshire Senior Cup at the first hurdle following a 3-2 defeat at Borrowash Victoria, in a match that was delayed because of the late arrival of the playing staff due to a traffic incident. The Millers went a goal down just before half-time when Borrowash''s David Hind opened the scoring but Chris Luby levelled proceedings almost immediately. The home side, who have progressed into the latter stages of The FA Vase, regained their advantage through Tom Leighton but with time running out, full debutant Robert Walton''s thunderbolt took the game into extra-time. Luke Garton''s goal proved decisive five minutes into the first period of extra time and The Millers were unable to recover again hampered by the late dismissal of skipper Chris Young.
