| What a brilliant day !!!
Throughout the whole tie we ended up playing 145 mins before going behind to the current European and FA Cup holders.
Trotta had a goal disallowed just before HT because the ref had already blown to give us a free kick on the edge of the area. Shame he didn't play the advantage.
Rosler was just bringing Forrester on when Chelsea took the lead. The plan was to hold them for 60 mins before having a go at winning the game. I don't think it made much difference.
Luis assaulted young Jake Reeves near the end which went unpunished and also left a slightly sour taste from what was a cleanly fought contest.
The only disappointment in this game was how wasteful we were in possession.
The bonus was watching it all again on tv that evening and enjoying the punditry from Martin Allen.
