| Stayed here the night - can recommend 'The Green Rooms' in the town centre, our room was excellent and it is handy for the local restaurants and bars. We had a drink in The Pall Tavern in the town which was a 5 minute walk away - the beer was cheap and the locals friendly. The ground is not walking distance from the town centre so you need to drive or get a cab. There was a beer tent set up opposite the ground which we dived into for one last pint before the game but could not see any other nearby pubs. After the game we dashed back to the town and had a really nice curry in the Mem-Saab Indian restaurant which is next to The Pall Tavern. I can definitely recommend a visit to Yeovil.
