Very quick solo flying visit. Game was marketed as two XI sides facing each other, but MK Dons said they had 'fringe and youth team players' out. Tottenham had about three players that regularly featured for the team last year. Ticket was £12, so I think it fills the criteria to count as one of the 92. Train from Shepherd's Bush to Bletchley, quite convenient as I work in Hammersmith. Took the half-an-hour walk to the ground, walked right around to the away end, bought a programme and went straight in. Turnstiles were the new padded tripod kind you get at theme parks nowadays, as opposed to the vertical axle at most traditional football grounds. No traditional narrow passageway either. Apart from that the ground was impressive for one that hosts League 1 football. Compare to Stevenage's ground which, though charming, is much smaller and is clearly the hallmark of a club that has risen rapidly through the leagues. I would personally question the ethics surrounding MK's occupation of its current league place, but this is a club that has money and ambition. The concourse opened straight out onto the lower tier (the upper tier at the time of writing being out of use), which means that you invariably descend to your seat rather than climb. The seats were padded and quite wide. Atmosphere had intermittent singsong, more than you'd expect for an XI friendly. I wasn't feeling too well so stayed in my seat until the final whistle.
