There with my Dad (who unknowingly paid for the tickets with the proceeds from his box of memories). The last trip out from Charlie''s Henley flat. Train across on a warm day. Excellent lunch (a shared burger and crisp white wine) in the Great Northern Hotel (across from St Pancras satation) and then on to Emirates. Big poster of Cliff Bastin An excellent new stadium. Brilliant seats. Tough little woman steward. Football okay but fairly typical pre-season fare. Nothing much more to report.
