Another new ground while watching my son play for Haverhill. Godmanchester Rovers have been at Bearscroft Lane since 2002 and it is a fairly compact tidy ground with a small seated stand and a covered terrace on the same side. New clubhouse is just over a year old and officials were very pleasant. The ground does have room to improve if the club are successful off the pitch. Entry into the ground was £5 (cheaper than most ECL Premier grounds while the programme was £1. Had to wait for the chips to be cooked before the start of the game & cost £1.40 Pitch like most at this level could be better. Haverhill won the game 1-0 with a Jack Wilkinson strike in the 67 minute
