A Kevin Phillips penalty. Bristol is a bloody long way from the North East in one go. This was one of those games that Champions win. Far from at our best we got a late penalty, the kind of which you usually associate with Man Utd and Chelsea being awarded late in the game. Phillips scored past Phillips - smash and grab - job done. I met an old mate of mine while there whose bus had been impounded due to the amount of alcohol they had on board. Still don't know if he got home alright.
