A very nice stadium! Southampton played some very neat and attractive football in the first half, but they couldn't make the break through. They got caught by a Cardiff sucker punch in the second half and ended up losing 1-0.

First time for a long while that I travelled without my mate Colin, who had contracted Labyrinthitis, which is a condition making a person feel giddy and nauseous. I met up with Ian Tunstall inside the ground and we watched a tremendous encounter which was won by a brilliant Juan Call strike. How many texts we received and people saying that they had seen us on Match of the Day (infamy at last).
