East Blues for a change, with Luke, Groucho & Scotty. Dominated the game, and created numerous chances, only for Wimbledon to hit us on the break, and go in 1-0 to the good at half time. Second was much of the same, creating enough chances but failing to convert, until Assombolonga wiggled through two men in the Wombles box before being chopped down. Tomlin confidently netted the equaliser from the spot. The match looked destined for penalties as Southend kept pluggin away but with no end product, until Chopper found space down the left in the 4th minute of injury sent a pin point cross Cresswell's well, who duly headed home with aplomb. 2-1. That'll do. A far more enjoyable game, admittedly against poor opposition, but at least confidence is gaining.
