Two goals from Pender the Defender made this a happy trip.We had great fun with the Devon Police including photos and an appeal from a kneeling Burnley fan to a strikingly attractive WPC to arrest him.
Chatting with Plymouth fans we discussed their geographical isolation. At the time Burnley had sixteen fixtures within two hours drive (Albion was the furthest). The Plymouth suuporters had just Exeter and possibly Bournemouth.
