Match no. 882. A controversial game in which the only goal came on 15 minutes when Ware goalie Anstead caught a corner under the crossbar but was adjudged to have carried the ball over the line. In stoppage time at the end of the game Ware were awarded a penalty but a linesman drew the referee''s attention to an off-the-ball incident that led to Ware skipper Danny Wolf being red-carded and a free-kick awarded to Enfield instead. In the end 13 minutes of added time were played but Enfield held on to win.
