Usual suspects me, Tony kit and ron. went in the home terrace after calling in the nice social club underneath. Eric Nixon was goalkeeper coach for Fleetwood,with other ex player connections in Linwood and sub McGuire also visited for Tranmeres pre season friendly which i think was the following season. An og from marsh-evans added to by a beeley goal in the second half gave Fleetwood the points. A nice unusal feature at the ground is the remanants of the old stand two foot behind the the new one which was still being used for the changing rooms i think, Also the most modern new stand was still in the process of being completed
