This was the first game I ever saw: I can't remember exactly when it was, or the exact scoreline (although my memory says it was 4-3 to Kettering), but it was midweek and I could see very little from the terraces as an eight year-old.  It should have been a landmark occasion, but I was actually quite bored despite the scoreline, and didn't pay much attention to football for a couple more years...
