Second of three games in 24 hours after Friday nights Tranmere v Cambridge game. I set out early around 7.30am arriving about 11.30, having tried to do some research i had heard the parking would be £7 but after paying the fee i soon found out with being so early i could have had free street parking! To be fair i was also worried about my timing with heading off early to get to the 17.30 kick off at Dumbarton in theory it would take half an hour for the journey which was only just do-able if i stayed for the 90 minutes however i was infomed that both the car park and some of the surrounding streets would be closed whilst the pedestrian fans disapaited and a steward also said it gets very congested for around an hour afterwards which led to me leaving eleven minutes from the end of the game. It panned out well though as i made the next game with 15 minutes to spare. The game wasn''t great Ex Tranmere keeper Simonsen only really forced into one save in the opening minutes a good strike from Aird and a Mensing og setteld the score with livi getting in some good positions but being a bit shot shy. Two other things to remember the stewards routine where they all in unison walked up and down their various steps with annoying regularity every five minutes or so was very distracting when asked why they had to do it i was told two fans had past away last season with heart attacks and that it was to check that all the fans were still breathing. The other was a catchy ditty by some of the gers fans to voice their ongoing disapproval to the running of the club along the lines of you dont care about the fans, you don''t care about the club your not fit to run rangers football club
