Third of my three games in 24 hour period reasonable parking at a £1 with a free entry into the halftime draw which to be fair i forgot about. I bought my programme and rushed into the ground having arrived 15 mins before kick off, i had thought i would support what i thought would be the underdogs in Dumbarton but hadn''t thought too much about my scarf and jester hat being in blue and white which could be construed as being more akin to Falkirks colours also with another former Tranmere youth player Will Vaulks plying his trade rather well with the bairns maybe it was the wrong choice. Thus i removed the essentials to keep me warm along with my coat as it seemed warmer than the game at Ibrox that i had just left( i must admit i had alterier motivies in showing my Tranmere colours in the hope that they would be picked up by BBC Alba who were televising the game, chnl 143 on sky commentary in gaelic but worth a watch for the games). Falkirk were the better team first half an went in 1 up at ht but the sons much improved in the second half and were on top for most of the second half and unlucky not to equalise up until Falkirks second about ten mins from the end. Think comments from some of the home support where a bit deluded particularly when Vaulks got flattened on one occasion but a good game none the less. I hit the road getting home at 1.15 AM. Loy, Aiston and Sibbald with the goals which probably flattered Falkirk a bit.
