Cheap day out with Match Tickets via a Sun Promotion and Rail tickets which turned out to be just upgrade tickets to 1st class (got away with it though) Nice ground and locals decent too. Leon Legge was back in favour of Marcel Eger and was immense. My MOTM by far. Matched Sheffield first half and McGinn had our two best chances but didn't hit the target with either. Lee made an outstanding double save in front of our end and when HT came we were holding them at 0-0 but getting stronger. HT substitutions by Uwe were 'strange' to say the least. Off went Donaldson and McGinn for MacDonald and Saunders. Making 2 subs when you're not playing badly is strange. Taking off two players who were effective is stranger still. Second half was a display reminiscent of the Scott era and Sheffield went on to totally dominate the game without really having to change anything. Uwe made his first big clanger today. Lets hope he learns from this.
