Wrexhams first game since losing the FA Trophy final at Wembley, that defeat also saw the sack for the manager. The first half was entertaining, both sides creating plenty but Wrexham shaded the build ups with some great passing, unfortunatley they started the second half negativley trying to defend their lead (Harris scored with a low hard shot from outside the box). The ref had a quality first half but let himself down in the second, firstly a Dover player was fouled but in trying to untangle himself their was a bit of handbags, the fouled player decided to throw the ball in the Wrexham players face from 2 yards the ref was well placed but chose to ignore it. Dover equlised after sloppy defending with a deflected shot. Secondly the penalty decision which no one else in the ground saw, even the Dover fans were bemused only cheering after an audible pause of ten seconds or so.(coughlin saved it)
