Quite a decent ground for a team with such modest support. Sat in Main Stand at the back. Good view, and the seat was padded (!). However, it had possibly the least leg room I've ever had in any ground ever (or bus or theatre or aircraft for that matter). Great chippy opposite the ground. Club's own bar (the Ratcliffe) was spacious and comfortable with decent beer, JW Lees.
Match was disappointing, rather scrappy and not much goalmouth action.
Bizarrely the referee, David Coote, also refereed the game I'd seen three days earlier (Birmingham v Middlesboro). What are the chances? In actual fact, I thought the ref handled both games particularly well.
