Dirk Kuyt's last game for Fener, was watched by a pitifully low crowd. Apparently this was because they'd finished 2nd in the league to Galatasaray!! Super stadium. No running track. Steeply raked stands. And just a 55p ferry ride from where I was staying on the European side. Great curling free-kick from Emre Belozoglu, formerly of Inter Milan and Newcastle.
