I remember this game for a number of reasons - a Sean Thornton free kick being one but mostly because this was in the middle of my first pre-season tour with Sunderland. I''d been visiting distilleries all day and a couple of hundred quids worth of whisky in my car and I proceeded to park my car just off the Gorgie Rd with all the windows open. When I got back after the match the cargo was intact. It wasn''t the first time I was glad I drove a Skoda!
