Ticket price €34. A weekend away with Sean with Berlin providing everything needed for a perfect weekend.
The Olympiastadion was incredibly impressive and although we could not organise a stadium tour prior to the game due to non availability the overall access around the stadium before the game was very good. The game with FC Nurnberg had an extra edge as both teams were fighting to remain in the Bundesliga with the atmosphere throughout the game being very tense, unfortunately, Hertha lost and were subsequently relegated which set off a mini riot with local fans vaulting the fencing/moat that surrounded the pitch in order to vent their displeasure at the players/manager/directors which lead to a very interesting return journey back to our hotel amongst the sirens and riot police!!
