Ticket price €35. The game formed part of Sean''s stag do in Lille, which was attended by 20 odd family and friends. The stadium was very unimpressive as it was a temporary measure (it was the local athletic stadium in the middle of nowhere!) When we arrived at the stadium we had trouble with the local authorities as they thought we were ticket touts as Tom tried to sell three tickets for face value that belonged to my brothers Dave, Shaun and Michael (who had stayed drinking in a local bar!) We were also filmed by a Japanese film crew singing Bubbles wearing the colours of Lille which was most odd! The game was average at best with the highlight being the Nancy fans turning their backs on their own team and jumping up and down when they went 2-1 behind. Had a nightmare getting taxis''s back to our hotel but eventually managed to meet up with my brothers/Michael to round our night off. Cabaye/Mirallas/Kluivert were wearing Lille colours who finished in 7th place at the end of the 07/08 season.
