Last day of the season and promotion race: Pars needed to win and have Alloa drop points at Arbroath. Wild rumours of Alloa game ending in a draw, sparked an ecstatic pitch invasion by Pars fans at full time. Unfortunately (for them) the rumours were NOT true, Alloa won by the odd goal and took the 2nd promotion place by a single point (behind champions Montrose). Trevor Smith - my intramural 5s team mate - scored 2 penalties for Pars. Morgan scored a Thunderbastard for Berwick!
