The first day off 2008 and a trip to Manchester was on the board. Fletch & Daisy a little hung over from new years eve but in decent condition went along with Warren and Cash to Manchester. Daisys dad provided the lift to the Blues ground and the four of them where soon on there way.   Warren and Cash a little worst for ware slept the majority of the way while Fletch and Daisy relaxed and waited for arrival. A stop at the service station ad they where soon in Manchester. They met up with Dougie and Mrs Dougie and went for a few beers at a local pub of Mrs Dougie's by the river. A few beers and the group headed to the ground !! Fletch only had one beer in the ground due to the shocking prices, £2.80 for a mini bottle of bud, not a bottle of bud, a mini bottle of bud, unbelievable !!   The game began and Blues did quite well, Carlos Tevez eventually put the champions in front but Blues went in at half time just the one down and playing quite well !!   The second half began and Man Utd had a couple of chances to make it 2-0 but didn't, Blues piled on a bit of pressure towards the end but couldn't find a break through and the game ended a respectful 1-0 to Man utd. Not the hiding that many predicted and almost a late point snatched !!   The Dougies went there seperate ways and the group headed home !! A few in the Dragons Inn on arrival home and then back to home as many had work the following day !!
