Comments :
Pre season as as no-one had been to priestfield to watch the mighty Gillingham Fletch, Joe & Warren went out on a pre-season trip !!   The lads got a lift of Dave and arrived in town, Fletch, not with it after just returning from holiday relised once he got to new street he had forgot Warrens train ticket so had the enjoyable trip of going back to Longbridge and then getting a lift back from father while the lads went for a breakfast, Fletch grabbed a subway, met the lads at moor street and where on there way !!   A bit of gambling on the train and a read of nuts and it was back to the old routine !! The lads where to discover this was a mission of a game to go two !! A train, two tubes and then another train and after after about four hours, five including the morning error the lads arrived !! A couple of drinks in the local Gillingham dive and the lads where soon at the ground !!   Blues dominated the first half and where 2-0 up at the break with goals from Cameron Jerome and Martin Taylor !! The second half stayed the same and the game was won !!   The lads missioned home and arrived back about 9:30pm, Warren and Joe headed home while Fletch went and met Jimmy and the lads for a few beers !!
