Another brilliant weekend away with Sean with the Amsterdam Arena being very impressive (as is Amsterdam!) it has a massive car park underneath the stadium which also has a main road running directly through it! The stadium tour the day prior to the game was very well organised and informative whilst we were able to watch the first team train which was a highlight. Prior to the game and as a part of our ticket/package we had a nice lunch in the Ajax stadium which although expensive gave us a privaliged Dutch league pre match experience. The game was very good with a decent atmosphere plus decent seats (towards the halfway line). The Ajax team included T Alderweield, D Blind, C Eriksen and R Babel! Despite Ajax having their goalkeeper sent off early in the second half they still went on to win the game comfortably, in fact so comfortable were they, they actually won the league the same day which was great for us as nuturals. The Ajax goals were scored by Shone, Sigporsson, Babel and Eriksen.
