Just an unbelieveable day !! Went with Ghouter and to start with we drove down to Brighton to watch the Brighton v Leyton Orient game but upon arrival to the Withdean and after a few conversations with the stewards it be came apparent that tickect sales were forbidden at the stadium on match day due to " council regulations " ( what the hell ! ) We were informed that some tickets in the south stand were unsold but to purchase these tickets we had to go to the club shop on the other side of Brighton ( through the ridiculous traffic ! ) as they couldn't sell them at the stadium. I've been to loads of games and never have I been in such a laughable situation as this one ! So at 14:20 we ran back to the car and made our way quickly to Crawley Town. After cutting across three lanes of the M 23 we pulled into Crawley where to our delight the ground was about half a mile away. We parked up and heard the first goal go in ! Got in the ground and I went to get something to eat and drink, as I lost so much fluid sweating whilst running back to the car in Brighton, and missed the second goal aswell. Then Ghouter done exactly the same thing for the third goal. Got home and saw that brighton had drew 0-0 so we had seen a better game and to be fair he football was pretty good fo the Blue Square.

This game was somewhat unscheduled! Steve and I were due to be going to see Brighton. After a 3 hour drive to brighton (the final half hour in heavy traffic) we arrived at the Withdean only to find you couldn't park anywhere so had to go right back out of town and use the park and ride facility. The bus journey was a joke the driver hardly got out of second gear. We got to the ground only to be told you couldn't purchase tickets at the turnstiles and there were in fact none availiable for sale anywhere at the ground...! By this time it was 14:25 and we were left with no choice but to try an find a local conference team who were at home, we decided on Crawley. As the van was 2 miles away at the park and ride and there were no buses scheduled we ended up having to run most of the way back to the bloody park and ride in blistering heat and up hill! Luckily Crawley was only 15 minutes away and the route into Crawley took us straight to the ground. We parked up and stepped out of the van only to hear a massive cheer as Crawley grabbed a early goal. We got into the ground having only missed 8 minutes. The stadium was pretty decent and tidy and Crawley played good passing football. Steve went off to get some food after 25 minutes only for Crawley to score again and him miss there goal, on his return I went to get some food and whilst I got mine I missed another Crawley goal. Crawley went in 4-0 upm and Northwich looked shocking. There were 3 further goals in the secong half and loads of other good chances.
