The last supper !! Norwich away !! Warren a week or so earlier announces he will be retiring from being a regular at away games as he is two months away from being a daddy and also has just taken out a mortgage so a goodbye drink and a good day was in order !! The lads left New Street early for the first train to Peterborough !! Fletch and Warren played a few games of card while Joe read the Guardian. The lads arrived in Peterborough and purchased a boiling hot breakfast baguette along with a boiling hot cup of tea !! They where soon on the train to Norwich for the next journey !! The lads arrived about half 12 in Norwich and hit the nearest pub for beers !! A few beers and the lads where on there way to the match !! For a change there was a decent range of beers in the ground, a quick pint and in to the stadium we went !! The match began and Norwich dominated creating a couple of chances, Martin Taylor made a couple of last gasp tackles to keep the league leaders in it. Just before half time Blues stuck a James Mcfadden free kick was wipped in and Seb Larsson headed home to put Blues in front just before the break, half time arrived and Blues lead 1-0 !! Another strong beer at half time and back for the second half.   Blues fans had barely took there seats and Norwich where level, a scramble in the box was turned in and it was all square !! Blues dominated the second half but could not find a way through and went on to miss two guilt edge chances. In the 87th minute Marcus Bent brilliant chest down for Gary Mcshefferey but having not played well for about 18 months Mcshefferey kept up his trend and from about 10 yards with the goal at his mercy he put the ball well over !! His crap !! A minute later Blues broke from a Norwich corner and Mcshefferey played in Phillips whos shot was saved one on one by the goalkeeper !! The game ended 1-1, Blues 100% start to the season had gone but this was a good point and kept Blues in the top three !!   The lads got a burger and headed back to the boozer they had been drinking in before the game !! Fletch, pissed by now suggested he should jump in the river and took his shoes and socks off, not completely hammered and knowing people where around he didnt !! Daisy come on the phone and wern't to inpressed with the lads idea. A few more drinks and that was it, Fletch was going in !! He walked down stream with Joe and Warren, the video phones where ready, off come the clothes and SPLASH !!!!!! Fletch was in, not been ablt to climb up the wall and out though he had to swim down the stream and go to the steps !! It was hilarious !! Fletch got out and had to put his clothes on while being wet. The lads lauging headed to the train station !! They got a couple of cans and on the train, a few games of cards a couple of train journeys and the llads where soon back in brum !! They got a taxi, Warren went home while Fletch and Joe had a couple in the hare and hounds and then for a balti to end the night !!
