Me, Andy and Jon met up with Simon at the ground and watched West Ham v City in the supporters club before the game. Got beat 2-1 so not a great start! However, was good to meet up with Simon again and he and Andy spent most of the time talking about weddings, house buying, impending kids etc etc. Was also a good supporters club with great tv view and great choice of beers (mild is best avoided!) So all in all a good day out and a decent game with a good turn out for League Two. Things went quickly downhill on the way home though when the car broke down (water pump leaking) so had to call out the RAC, get a roadside fix (best guess!) then limp home at low speed, topping up the coolant tank at a few service stations on the way. So got home at midnight but relieved to get the car back in one piece with no towing charges.
