Second of the two nomads europa games played here after knocking out Stabaek in the previous round. Bumped into fellow rovers fan Trevor Jones as i had done last year at TNS. Apparently the game was streamed live by S4C but it wasn''t a classic. Nomads had produced a back to the wall performance but lost the away leg 0-1 with a late goal in Serbia. However an early freekick put them further behind on 10 minutes the defence expecting a cross and the keeper may have saved it if he wasn''t expecting likewise brushing his fingers as it went above his head. The free kick count was astrinomical some were fair, plenty were dubious and their seemed a fair share of histrionics. A second half penalty sealed the deal and Nomads manager Morrisson saw red. He had been industrial with his language for sections of the game and said something that the linesman then took offence to. At least they managed a consolation and had a great chance to equalise on the night but to be fair the Serbians were just a bit stronger. After the games headed further into Wales to stay at my Mums before getting the early ferry from Holyhead to Dublin to carry on my football saga.
