A longer trip than usual, we''d had to travel up to Liverpool for a work meeting but managed to get it finished quicker than usual and so headed off in the company car to Bournemouth. Stopped in Wolves to pick up Mike''s brother and arrived in time for a pre-match curry and pint. The game was a typical early round League Cup game, though we did get to see a rare Darren Ferguson goal. I travelled back in the Telford Wolves mini-bus and the driver fell asleep on the motorway coming back. Luckily one of the lads at the front grabbed the steering wheel and we insisted he drove the rest of the way !
