| Arrived in a terrential downpour but the game ended in blazing sunshine . .ahh North Wales ! Another very friendly welcome (something about football at this level) and a sincere hope I'd return. The set-up is excelelnt and forward thinking with a well stocked club shop a thriving social club and junior sides. Colwyn did used to be one of the stronger non-league Welsh sides but have stayed in the English pyramid system. The pitch was very boggy though in a picturesque setting. neil Balck is clearly a hero to the Colwyn faithful and there was much cheering when it was announced he's sigend for another season. He missed several chances this game but eventually got the winner when it looked like Quorn might hold out.
