Went with Mum, Dad and Joseph. We left home at about 10:00 ish and went by car to the ground. Took about 2 hrs to get to the ground and when we got there we parked in the club's car park and went into the club shop to get tickets in advance. We then left the car at the ground and walked to Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway and spent the first few hours of afternoon there. Went on train 3 times and had lunch during this time. We left the railway at about 14:40 ish and walked back to the ground and got inside at 14:55 ish. Sat in the south stand and the first half was quite even although we had the larger share of possession and chances. Didn't start the 2nd half well and gave the ball away cheaply twice for them to counter and finish. From then on we completely dominated the ball and the game. Nice goal from Stearn to get us back into the game and would've got at least a point had it not been for their goalie who pulled off some outstanding saves, including a penalty, to give them the 3 points. On reflection another game that we should've got a draw or possibly a win but the combination of poor finishing and great goalkeeping stopped us from getting what we deserved. We left at about 17:00 and it took about 15 mins to get out of local area and onto motorway which is only about 1 mins walk away. We got home at about 19:00 ish. If we keep playing like that in games we are definitely going to get points on the board soon.
