We took two coaches and arrived early including a half hour stop at Warwick services which were full of Everton fans heading to the FA Cup semi at Wembley. As with most games this season clear cut chances were few and far between but rovers did have the best of them with one noticable exception in the closing stages when Davies had to make a great save to deny the home side. Norwood headed home the winner with three minutes remaining having earlier had a spectacular finish ruled out for offside and a rebound effort after a shot from mekki well saved. Other than that the home side nearly scored an og but it was headed off the line.
