Tranmere dominated possession in the first half but a mixture of good saves from the home keeper julian and poor finishing helped to send the teams in level at the break however Bromley did create one guilt edged chance after slack play in the rovers defence Emanuel dragging a clear cut chance wide. More of the same at the start of the second half Vaughan eventually breaking the deadlock however Rovers then sat back with a noticable drop in gears inviting late pressure although the Tranmere keeper was rarely in danger

TOTAL VISITS 1 TRANMERE VISITS PLD 1 W1 D0 L0 GF1 GA0. Good first half performance but generally wasteful finishing plus three top saves by julian most noticably from a long range Harris pile driver kept the scores blank at half time that coupled with a rare Emmanuel missed sitter dragging a shot wide after a lapse of concentration in the rovers defence. The second half started in the same vain with a combination of good saves and profligate finishing keeping rovers out until Vaughans shot found a way through however this then led to Rovers dropping a couple of gears the smart wingplay up to that point became noticable for it''s absence and invited pressure at the other end however this failed to create too many clear cut chances for the home team. A deserved away win but slightly tainted by the jaded last half an hour. 401 away fans.
