What a day!
Donx drove from uni. KFC was new on the scene and we had lunch there in the wilds of Lancs. By the time we had parked up in Bolton the place was heaving. We just about got in (at the Bolton end) just before kick off. Within 5 minutes Wolves were one up with a free kick routine, (practised) that Bolton, team and fans, thought was illegal. Wolves held out, were crowned champions but in winning took Forest up rather than Bolton. We met a trio of Forest fans who got down on their knees to thank us! We got very drunk that night!
