Bromsgrove went ahead early through Wilson after some neat passing. As is often the case Sporting then dominated possession but wasted the many chances they created, however on the half hour Bunn, who was impressive throughout, showed some nest footwork before slotting home. Tony Clarke scored with a header soon after half time and it looked game over, but Griff somehow poached 2 goals through Palmer and looked the more likely to equalise when Chris Conway hit a belter in the last minute to sew up the points for Sporting.
