| Possibly the worst opening 44 minutes of football I''ve ever seen, then out of the blue a Lee Hughes shot was bundled out to Nelson-Eddy who steered it home. Stalybridge, playing up the slope, had at least endeavoured to play some football, must have been devastated. The second half was a bit better, Hughes was put clear to score a second, and with Stalybridge pushing forward Bishop, (only on the bench!) volleyed home a delicious cross. Keane got a fourth late on but this was never a 4-0 drubbing!
