Went with Dad and Joseph while on holiday for Christmas in Aldeburgh. Left the cottage at about 11:30 and drove to Needham Market. Took about 1 hour to get to the ground which was tucked away behind a load of houses, typical non league ground which was very nice but rather small if the club was to get promoted into step 2 of non league. Parked car at ground and sat in the main stand, right at the back which was very steep and housed about 150 people in it. The 1st half was a very poor half on an awful pitch which was probably about the same quality as Belair Park and was very hard for either side to play football on. Sudbury were the better side in the 1st half and deserved to be ahead at half time. Sudbury were the side that attempted to play good football but were let down by a very poor pitch. 2nd half was a brilliant watch with Needham Market coming out the blocks straight away and scoring within a minute of the 2nd half starting through a penalty. Sudbury were then on the back foot and had there centre back sent off about 5 mins after for fouling their striker as the last man. Needham took the lead 5 mins later with a header that looked as if it didn't cross the line. Needham then dominated the rest of the half and found spaces that you would find with an extra man on the pitch. They got another penalty and that one was saved which gave Sudbury the chance to get back in the game, they had a few chances but in the end left the ground with no points. Left the ground and went in the car back to the cottage and got back at about 16:00 to watch the end of Final Score.
