Big win considering other results on the night. Left home at about 17:30 and got the 57 bus to Amen Corner where 8 I walked to Tooting Station stop and got the 280 to Sutton Green. Walked to the ground and got there at 18:30, was selling programmes at the Collingwood Road end. It was bitterly cold and didn't sell out before KO. Started watching the match about 5-10 mins in. We dominated the first half and had a few chances, but not clear cut and probably should've been more than 1-0 up at HT but could so easily have gone in level had it not been a great save by Puddy. 2nd half was a slightly less entertaining affair in which we still dominated and had chances to extended our lead but didn't manage to take them. Overall, deserved the win and weren't threatened at all by a very poor Boreham Wood side. Got picked up by mum, dad and Joseph in the car and got home at about 22:00 ish and went to bed as I had to get up at 6:00 the next day to catch my train to Newcastle for the applicant day.
