After a bizarre opening 15 minutes, Bromsgrove Sporting settled down to complete a convincing 3-0 away victory over Racing Club Warwick at Townsend Meadow.
All the goals came in the first half with Andy Nicol scored the first in the 24th minute with a glancing header from a Robbie Bunn right wing cross. Jason Cowley added a second when he was perfectly placed at the far post again converting from a right wing cross. Just on half time Liam Spink added a third from the penalty spot.
In the second half Bromsgrove maintained the upper hand but no goals ensued although Spink had the chance to make it 4 when he had another spot kick saved by Man-of-the-Match keeper Jon Pigott.
