Bromsgrove Sporting clinched the Midland Football League Division One title when they beat local neighbours Studley 2-0 at the Victoria Ground, however they were not at their best and celebrations had to be delayed until well past 5pm as a serious injury to former Rousler, Keith Draper Jnr, delayed the second half for around 20 minutes. Sporting started the game cautiously but generally seemed in control, the first goal came in the 22nd minute when midfielder Robbie Bunn picked the ball up on the edge of the penalty area and duly dispatched his shot past 'keeper Alistair Lewis.
