3G pitch. Winner for Bradford ( Park Avenue ) in 97th minute. Torrential rain / Thunder storm / Hail stones 2 hours before kick off. Traffic island / subway / footpaths on approach from the town centre to the ground completely flooded. Had to wade through 6 inches of water on the flooded footpath to get to the ground. Trainers and feet soaked ! No pub near to the ground - several pubs in the town centre approx 15 minute walk from the ground. The Robert Peel was very pleasant. Friendly staff with fine selection of ales. There is a clubhouse in one corner of the ground but this was out of bounds from the main stand as a section of terracing ( and one block of turnstiles ) was closed due to flooding from the earlier downpour. Ironically , the match was played in glorious sunshine !
