Comments :
Really entertaining game of football where both teams went for the win and played some good football. Left my room at about 12:30 and walked to Chester station to get the 12:57 train to Stockport. The train was delayed by 10 mins because of miscommunication between Northern rail and Chester station. Got to the ground at about 14:30 after a 10 mins walk from the station to the ground. Then went to the ticket office to get my ticket and to the club shop. Went into the ground at about 14:50. The club itself is of league standard given the size of the ground and the facilities on offer. The game itself was a brilliant affair. Stockport had the majority of the chances and possession in the 1st 10 mins and managed to hit the crossbar within the first minute. Blyth came back into the game with a few chances of their own, hitting the post after about 20 mins of the game. Stockport took the lead through a penalty but within a minute Blyth went up the other end of the pitch and equalised with a good finish into the bottom corner. It was 1-1 at HT and for the majority of the 2nd half. After about 2/3rds of the 2nd half both teams started to get sloppy in possession and both sides started to tire but Blyth made a couple of substitutions and in injury time nicked 2 goals to win the game 1-3. A point was probably a fair result but the 2 goals at the end gave the game a bit of excitement after a poor 10-15 mins or so towards the end of the game. Walked back to the station and got on the 17:30 train to Chester and got into my room at about 19:15.
