First experience of cross border derby. Really good atmosphere and good game. Went with Charlie and Charles. Left campus at about 18:30 ish and started to walk towards the ground. Went to Tesco on way there to buy some drinks. Got to the ground at about 19:15 ish and collected tickets from ticket office. Went straight in afterwards to the terrace. KO was then delayed till 20:00 due to congestion stopping the Wrexham fans from getting to the ground. The 1st half was a cagey affair with Chester having most of the ball and a couple of half chances from set pieces but no stand out chances. Wrexham didn't have much of the ball but on 43 mins scored from a set piece right in front of us. 2nd half was a much more open and entertaining half with Chester dominating and hitting the woodwork about 2-3 times throughout the half. Chester just lacked that quality in the final third to open up the Wrexham defence who were solid pretty much all game. Overall a point would've been a fair result but Chester didn't have the finishing touch up top to get what they deserved. Left the ground and walked back to room and got back at about 22:30.
